9:00 AM to 11:00 AM: "Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS): What, Why, Who, and How?" by Kathrine Lee, MSN, RN, RNC-NIC, NNP-BC

Objectives:

1.  Define RDS

2.  Identify who is at risk and  differential diagnoses

3.  Understand how RDS is managed in NICU

11:00 AM to 1:00 PM: "Sugar Babies in the NICU" by Cindy Yan Lam, MSN, RN, NNP-BC

Objectives: 

1.  Define hypoglycemia in the first 24 hours of life

2.  Identify infants at risk for hypoglycemia

3.  Identify complications of hypoglycemia in the neonate

This event will be repeated on April 12th.

Accreditation:
